Overview
This policy explains what data Quipy collects and how we use it when you host or book through the service.
Data we collect
Account details (such as email and display name), host profile settings, activities and availability, and booking information guests provide (name and optional email or phone when you ask for them). We also collect basic technical logs needed to run and secure the product.
Google Sign-In
If you sign in with Google, Quipy receives your Google account name and email address to create or authenticate your Quipy account. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other Google user data. We use this Sign-In data only to operate your account and do not sell it.
Facebook Login
If you sign in with Facebook, Quipy receives your Facebook name and email address to create or authenticate your Quipy account. We do not post on your behalf, access your friends list, photos, or Messenger, or use Facebook data for advertising. We use this Login data only to operate your account and do not sell it.
How we use data
We use this information to operate bookings, show your public invite page, send transactional messages, improve the product, and prevent abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information with service providers who help us run Quipy (for example hosting or email delivery), and when required by law. Guests see the host details you choose to publish; hosts see the booking details guests submit.
Retention
We keep account and booking data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, dispute, and legal reasons.
Your choices
You can update profile information in settings and request account deletion by contacting [email protected].
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, but no online service is perfectly secure. Protect your password and device access.
